Covid-19 Support For Families & Individuals

Woolwich Residents Fund 

The 'Woolwich Residents Support Fund' is a one-time financial support offered to individuals in need. However, this fund will continue to address ongoing needs experienced by Woolwich residents long after the COVID-19 pandemic has ended.

Canada's Economic Response Plan

Information on financial relief programs offered for Canadians and businesses affected by the Covid-19 pandemic. This includes: Employment Insurance, the Canada Recovery Benefit, Canada Recovery Sickness Benefit, Canada Recovery Caregiving Benefit, Mortage Payment Deferral program, Canada Emergency Wage Subsidy and much more.

Religous & Spiritual Supports During Covid-19

Many religious and spiritual supports are offering online services during the Covid-19 Pandemic. This link will provide you with a list of online offerings.

Safe Voluntary Isolation Sites

The isolation site is a safe place for people to stay to help them rest and recover, and to reduce the spread of COVID-19 within their home and in the community. There are no costs for people to stay at the site. The site is private and welcoming, with many comforts of home. People who use the isolation site will have a private hotel room with Wi-Fi, a computer to borrow, a TV, telephone, small fridge, three meals daily, and coffee machine.

People are eligible to use the isolation site if they:

-  Need to isolate to protect themselves or others from COVID-19; AND

-  Cannot safely isolate in their own home; AND

-  Are a resident of the Region of Waterloo; AND

-  Do not need onsite medical support.
