Breads

BREAD PROGRAM

Fresh bread and buns are available to Food Bank participants every Monday from 11:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. The Bread is made available through COBS Bread, 'end of the day program.'

FRESH FOOD THURSDAY

Each Thursday Food Bank participants can drop into the community room for an assortment of food items with a focus on fruits and vegetables. This program is available every Thursday from 1:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. 

Fruit & Vegetable Market

LUNCH CRUNCH PROGRAM

Every Monday throughout the school year our Lunch Crunch Program is offered. Providing Food Bank participants, with nutritious foods for children to take to school.

The Hamper provided follows the Canadian Food Guide and consists of fresh fruits and vegetables, and grains. The program runs on Mondays from 11:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. out of our community room on a drop in basis.

MONTHLY FOOD HAMPER PROGRAM

Our Food Bank provides a food hamper to suit the size and needs of your family. Participants can call and request food items from our food hamper grocery list.  Items available for selection include non-perishable food items along with fresh milk, vegetables, fruit, eggs, margarine and meat. Infant needs including diapers and formula are provided. Additional support services are also available to participants as needed.

Eligible participants must  live in Woolwich Township or the north part of Wellesley Township.

SUMMER FOOD SHARE

In the summer months, Home Hardware Head Office will deliver produce items from their employee-initiated garden. Produce will vary based on what is being grown and what is ready.  Those who use our Food Hamper Program can come Mondays from 11:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. to choose items.
