About The Event
Each year the merchants of Elmira cut their prices for the annual Side Walk Sale. The celebration begins on Thursday August 8, 2018 until Saturday August 10,2019. During this time, many local and out-of-town shoppers come to dance and enjoy the great deals.
Woolwich Community Services would like to take advantage of the crowds and hold a barbecue on August 8th & 9th to raise funds and educate the community about the services we provide. In particular, the money raised from this event will support the Woolwich Youth Centre. The Youth Centre, which is run by Woolwich Community Services, offers activities year-round for youth in grade 6 through 18 years of age. Since the Centre’s opening in 2001, it has provided hundreds of youth with the opportunity to participate in games and activities in a safe and supervised atmosphere.
